Using Assisted Registry
Assisted registry provides a fast and simple way to register participants from a list for smaller audiences (ideally less than 50
participants). The steps below can be performed before each presentation to ensure each participant has registered.
IMPORTANT
Assisted registry is not compatible with vPad.
Prerequisites
A participant list that contains names or Student IDs (Device IDs are optional) is required. For instructions on how to create a
participant list, see Adding Participants to a Participant List, Importing a Participant List from a CSV or XLSX File, or
Importing a Participant List from a Learning Management System (LMS).
1
Open Flow.
2
Click Manage particpants.
3
Load the appropriate participant list.
4
Click the Assisted Registry icon.
The Assisted Registry window opens.
5
Each participant must press a button on their response device when their name appears on screen.
The Device ID for the participant will appear in the Device ID field.
6
Click the forward button to move to the next participant.
Alternatively, select Auto advance to allow the software to automatically advance to the next participant.
TIP
To limit the amount of time a participant has to register, click the Options icon and select
Settings. Within the Flow settings tab, adjust the seconds next to the Timeout to confirm
attendance setting. If the participant registers before the time is up, the list will automatically
advance to the next participant.
7
Click Close after all participants have registered their device.
The participant list is temporarily saved. To permanently save the participant list, click the Export icon within the
Registered participants panel.
